Research Analyst
Samuel Jacobs provides research and analytical support to real estate and economic development projects ranging from knowledge economies and innovation districts to affordable housing.
As a research analyst in the North Carolina office, Samuel has helped with implementation for municipal affordable housing plans, strategies for placed based university led innovation, and real estate analysis surrounding the expansion of knowledge economies.
Prior to HR&A, he worked as an organizer with the North Carolina Democratic Party and before that as an organizer for the 2020 Democratic National Coordinated Campaign based in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout his time organizing, he recruited and trained teams of volunteers in order to launch direct voter contact initiatives aimed at registering and mobilizing voters. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Samuel traveled east to earn a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College, before moving to Durham, North Carolina in August of 2021.
