Kayla provides analytical support for a variety of inclusivity and economic development projects.
Kayla supports HR&A’s inclusivity and placemaking advisory work in HR&A’s New York office. Currently, Kayla is supporting development of the Skillful Coaching Corps program to create a productive community of workforce development coaches who effectively mentor jobseekers.
Prior to joining HR&A, Kayla traveled throughout the Midwest and eastern Germany to research transnational socioeconomic policy implementation in declining industrial centers. Kayla also analyzed historical and economic trends of eminent domain in Dallas as an Engaged Learning Fellow at Southern Methodist University.
Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Southern Methodist University. In her free time, she runs a lifestyle and travel blog.
