Maryse Pearce


Maryse applies her background in advocacy and community organizing to inclusive economic development and growth strategies.

At HR&A, she works with cities, foundations, and non-profits to develop effective strategies for focusing investments to support underserved communities.

Previously, Maryse was the Community Engagement Coordinator at GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), where she created and executed outreach strategies. During graduate school, she held fellowships at Unbound Philanthropy, a foundation that supports immigrants and refugees in the US and UK; and the Equality Federation, a coalition of statewide LGBTQ advocacy organizations.

Maryse is a native of Queens, NY and earned a Master of Public Policy and an MBA in Nonprofit Management at Brandeis University. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Theater from Washington University in St Louis.
