On behalf of Trinity Church Real Estate, HR&A is providing strategic, real estate, and financial advisory services for the redevelopment of Trinity's real estate portfolio in the Hudson Square area of Manhattan. As the Project Manager of a multidisciplinary team consisting of Trinity Real Estate, planners, urban designers, energy experts, and sustainability consultants, HR&A is conducting portfolio and land use economic analysis, capital improvement budgeting, and planning for neighborhood and environmental sustainability improvements. The HR&A Team is leading Trinity and the project team through a multifaceted environmental sustainability initiative to proactively respond to Mayor Bloomberg's goal of achieving a 30% reduction in carbon production as part of the PlaNYC initiative. Trinity has also enrolled as a pilot participant for New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)'s commercial real estate incentive programs. When complete, Trinity's portfolio will serve as a model project for "green" commercial real estate in New York City and for NYSERDA's incentive programs.
