Access to the Region's Core
HR&A is providing comprehensive real estate advisory services to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the New York City portion of the Access to the Region's Core (ARC) project. The planned ARC tunnel will be constructed beneath the Hudson River and will connect to a major new railroad station beneath 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan. The project will double the track capacity into the Penn Station area, from New Jersey and upstate New York, and will promote the continued growth of the Midtown Central Business District. HR&A is assisting the Port Authority with real estate advice and guidance for the acquisition of required property for the ARC Tunnel and ensuring the project contributes to future economic growth in the area surrounding Penn Station and the Far West Side.
