John Alschuler, HR&A's Chairman, moderated a panel at the 2009 ULI Fall Meeting & Urban Expo entitled: "Post-Industrial Can Mean Regeneration . . . Especially on the Waterfront". The panel highlighted strategies that have been used across the globe to turn industrial waterfronts into valuable public spaces that revitalize downtown neighborhoods. John and his colleagues discussed approaches to infrastructure finance, design excellence, market phasing, entitlement management, and public private partnerships John was joined by Joshua Kahr, Principal, Kahr Real Estate, Cathy J.
