Joy A. Lo brings over 10 years of consulting experience providing a range of strategic advisory services to public and private sector clients in the US and internationally. Her specializations include public-private partnerships, multidisciplinary project management, strategic communications, and business development. Currently Ms. Lo is working on behalf of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to energy efficiency in commercial real estate, including providing account management services to several of NY's largest commercial office owners and managers. The firm's work for NYSERDA contributes to the "Greener, Greater Buildings Plan" for reducing CO2 emissions, part of PlaNYC 2030, New York City's design for sustainable development. As project manager for G.Works, a one-stop shop that unites best-in-class engineering, design and financial expertise to provide comprehensive sustainable investment strategies, Ms. Lo guides property owners, managers and developers on real estate efficiency projects from planning through implementation. Prior to HR&A, Ms. Lo worked extensively in China and acquired a deep understanding of China's economic development and sustainability issues. She is a graduate of Brown University.
