Elena Alschuler, a senior analyst, has worked on a range of economic analysis and large scale redevelopment projects since joining HR&A in 2006. Ms. Alschuler is currently working with Trinity Church-St. Paul's Chapel, providing strategic consulting for redevelopment of their real estate portfolio in the Hudson Square area of Manhattan, and is managing the development of a web-based benchmarking tool to assess the energy efficiency of large commercial buildings for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Her recent projects include an economic development plan for the State of Connecticut, an investment strategy for the creation of a cultural district in Greensboro, North Carolina, and an economic impact analysis of Times Square. Ms. Alschuler has alsoworked on park governance and operations strategies for Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN, Canada Square in Toronto, ON, and the High Line and Harbor District, both in New York City, NY. Ms. Alschuler is a graduate of Bard College.
