Cary Hirschstein brings a range of experience in sustainability, economic development, planning and program policy, design and implementation. His clients have included economic development, energy and planning agencies, major non-profits and educational institutions. Cary has worked with the HR&A team to expand its sustainability practice, helping to direct policy design and implementation of statewide energy efficiency programs for residential and commercial office buildings. Cary is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a master of urban planning from the Wagner Graduate School for Public Service at New York University. From advising New York City on the development of its PlaNYC brownfield policy to guiding the City University of New York in exploration of site redevelopment opportunities, Cary's range of expertise and analytic eye bring clients a clear understanding of where they are and where they can go.
